Can I Go For Braces For Malocclusion Of Teeth?

hello Doctors firstly can i thank you for taking the time to answer my question, secondly, i have a question concerning whether to get braces or any other treatment (except for veneers).i have an overbite, 2 protruding lateral incisors and my canines are pushed back in comparison to my other teeth. what is noteworthy is that my left canine is very small because its still a milk tooth though i'm 19 years old. A year ago i had a surgery to remove the tooth that was supposed to replace this canine (it was engraved in my palate horizontally).
Hopefully you will help me out decide whether to have traditional braces,on a 6 month smile in order to enlarge my milk canine and straighten the rest of my teeth . Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The malocclusion has to be corrected with braces. The milk tooth has to be removed and the space has to be closed with the help of braces. This might take a year to one and half year. Do not go for any short treatment procedures, go for conventional method. This can be decided based on the casts and radiographs like OPG and lateral cephalograph. Once the amount of space needed to be closed, the amount of over jet and overbite present determines the treatment plan.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
