What Is Normal Hcg Level During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am currently 10 days pregnant (I had IVF transfer on 12-13-11). 4 home pregnancy tests were positive, but my blood test today showed my hcg level was 48...the nurse said that I was pregnant by that the hcg number was low. I have not been able to speak to my doctor yet. What level is normal for 10 days? I m really worried :(

hi around 50-500 is normal but at times it can be low. viability of pregnancy is never judges by single reading of hcg levels but by serial monitoring at 48 hours interval so would recommend you to get a repeat hcg titre 48 hours later.there should be min 66% rise in the hcg titres in 48 hours . all the best.
