What Are The Side Effects Of Taking HCG 5000 Injection During Pregnancy?

HI My wife was found positive in pregnancy, doctor has given HCG 5000 injection after identification of positive pregnancy. As per net, HCG should not give after identification of positive pregnancy. need confirmation.. No growth observed in pregnancy, hence doctor advised abortion.

I understand your concern.
HCG 5000 is a purified chorionic gonadotrophin, . It is injected in early pregnancy to sustain pregnancy- when pregnancy is observed to be at risk of abortion. It practically does not have any side effect on pregnancy, rather it is helpful in pregnancy maintenance.
In your case doctor must have guessed risk , & gave you the injection.. to give a chance of survival of pregnancy...which unfortunately was not successful & you had to abort it.
