What Could Cause Pain Post Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery on one eye and it was fine. When the other eye was done, I started having pain. I thought I was alergic to the eye drops but I stopped using them and now both eyes are hurting. The doctor says they are inflamed but he is offering no solution.

For pain you should have consulted the doctor who operated it.Should not have stopped medication. Now you have to consult the eye surgeon who operated your eyes. Now subconjuctival steroid and gentamycin injection may required. Get it examined eye condition assessed. Eye doctor will give proper advise
