Are There Any Complications Of LASIK Eye Treatment?

Hi Dr, My friend is having -4 in both the eyes. and she is having the same number for more than 2 years. she is 24years, 5 6 tall lean (about 50 kgs) and healthy. Is it safe for her to go for LASIK? Will there be any complications after the treatment.

LASIK surgery is safe in individuals whose carnia thickness is good, there is no associated raised intra ocular pressure or ocular infections etc. But your ophthalmologist will decide after examining your eye condition. Success rate is very high for LASIK surgery.
