What Changes Will Happen After Installing Pacemaker?
I am having a pacemaker/defibbulator being installed in one week! Not so sure about this when I read all the restrictions and change of life that goes along with this device. I know its a great tool for a Cardiologist to be able to use but I am only 44 and don t want to have to worry about this device getting hurt or the wires getting dislodged every time I use my left arm etc. very scared about this one!! What kinds of life changes will go along with this and what kind of activities can you usually do and how often do you think these things get messed up or wires get dislodged? Sincerly, Ken Hitts
Most of the changes are for the better!
A tremendous improvement in the quality and quantity of life is usual.
Of course, a few side effects may happen / but they are uncommon.
There won't be any restriction of arm movements or general activity after some time.
The benefits far outweigh the risks.
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
