What Causes Pain In Jaw Bone And Ear Bone?

Hello, I have been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia X 18 mos., post severe sinus infection - over the last 6.5-7 weeks I've had a severe headache (almost constant), vertigo, nauseam vomited X1, and a bruit in right ear (intermittent) but sometimes lasts for hours & hours, slight ear pain. The bone at the top of jaw/base of ear, is VERY painful, and at times I get a painful sensitive sensation at back of ear a long scalp, and top of ear -same. My balance is not right lately. Should I see an ENT. of note: I did have an MRA Brain done one week ago, (I do not know results yet)... thank you

Hello, thanks for consulting at hcm..
Trigeminal neuralgia causes lancinating pain and electric shock like pain,, i hope you are taking carbamazapine 100mg thrice daily..

Also regarding bone pain in ear could be due to mastoid infection.. also your balance is not right; hence you may be having vertigo.. you have got a mri scan of brain,, so after you get result of the scan please consult a ent specialist,, and also visit a vertigo clinic.. Regarding trigeminal neuralgia please review back with oral medicine and a neurologist for further follow up,,

Hope it helps,,take care,,
