I have had several root canals and various dental treatments over the years. For the last 3 years I have had discharge coming out of my tearduct and I also get a spot on the roof of my mouth from time to time. Thus is a bit higher than my teeth. The spot pops and yellow puss and blood come out. I have had x rays done but my dentist cant find anything. No anti biotics have cured these either. A tearduct consultant did a CT scan and cant see why the tearduct is blocked. Do you know if these could be linked? They are both on the left side. Also, what could the cause be and how can I get someone to diagnose and treat? Do I need to ask my dentist to do a particular examination? Thank you.
