Hi,

Falcigo SP kit is a combination of two drugs, namely artesunate, and sulphadoxine-pyrimethamine. It is primarily used to treat malaria, but can also be used for other infections. If you have been tested for malaria and the result was negative, it is not recommended to take the Falcigo SP kit. The kit may have side effects and can also lead to drug resistance if used unnecessarily. It is always important to follow the advice of your healthcare provider and discuss any concerns or questions you may have regarding the treatment plan.

Since your fever has persisted for over two months and the tests have been negative, it may be helpful to discuss the further investigation with your physician to determine the underlying cause of your fever. It could be due to a variety of reasons such as a viral infection, bacterial infection, autoimmune disorder, or other systemic diseases. Your physician may recommend further tests or refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
