Suggest Treatment For High Fever In An Infant

hello sir, my nine mths daughter is having fever in the range of 100-101F from last ten days , her widal test doesnt confirm about typhoid but her urine test shows about 2-4 puscells. Our family doctor has indicated that things are moving towards typhoid and wait for another two days for more tests what should we do what should

Hello,

It may be due to viral fever.

Still for further assessment I would suggest you to consult with pediatrician.

He may procure complete hemogram, chest X Ray, and other relevant blood investigation as per evaluation.

Till then you can give syp acetaminophen.

Continue breast feeding.
