What Causes Deep Grooves In Tongue While On Antibiotics?
i am 54 years old. i have been on heavy antibiotics for the past 2 weeks because of an infection on my arm. Dr thought maybe MRSA but did not hospitalize, just gave me 2 antibiotics. now i have deep groves in my tounge. is it because of the antibiotics or should i go back to my physician? e5'9" 190 lbs

As per your complain deep grooves in tongue seems to be due to a condition known as Fissured tongue or Plicated tongue.
It is not caused due to taking antibiotics while can be due genetics and seen in certain syndromes like Down's syndrome, Melkersson-Rosenthal syndrome etc..
It is generally a harmless and a painless condition and treatment is basically to maintain a proper hygiene.. You should do warm saline gargles.. Keep a soft toothbrush and clean the tongue to remove debris.. You can also gargle with antiseptic mouthwash..
