What Are The Infections Of MRSA ?

How infectious is MRSA? I sat by and shook hands with a woman Sunday in church; I didn t know her, but was welcoming her. Tonight I found out that the visitor has MRCR. How contagious is it and are there steps I might need to take to make sure I don t contract this disease?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infection is highly contagious. It can get transmitted even by touching an infected person. But there are more chances of getting an infection on touching the infected parts containing these microorganisms. Nothing to worry right now, if you develop any symptoms like fever, body pain immediately consult your physician and get all the blood investigations to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
