Unprotected Sex Before Periods. Taken I-pill, Delayed Periods. Did The Birth Control Work?
my gf had sex wid me 5 daYs before her period ,it was unprotected sex although i dint even *** inside her ! she took i pill jzt 2 hr after sex..nw her period is delayed infact period dint occured yet !! her period is xpcted to be on 14th march and we had sex on 9th mar so tell me ....Does the pill worked ? m worried kindly tell me plz

Look, your girlfriend did not need any ipill for contraception. Because, in that period, there is no chance of pregnancy as it was very close to period.
But, she took it. Now, it has estrogen and progesterone combination. That means these drugs causes side effects. Among the renowned side effects most importants are delayt in period, heavy bleeding during period, and irregular bleeding after completeion of period.
So, she is having the side effects of the drugs. Tell her to wait for few days for spontaneous period. Otherwise, she has to consult with her gynecologist for further management.

I-pill is a emergency contraceptive pill. It works best when used as early as possible after unprotected sex , but not later than 72 hours. The sooner you use i-pill, the more effective it is.
Since your GF took within 02 hrs of sex, it should work as It is 95% effective within 24 hours of unprotected sex, But if her periods are delayed by more than a week, you should go in for a pregnancy test and contact your doctor.
