Trying To Concieve. Had Unprotected Sex, Having Cramps, Pink Discharge. Pregnant?

Hi Dr, I d like to know why is my period irregular, never been. Periods started on 24/12/12, ended 28/12/12, then started at around 12h00 on 25/01/13 ended 27-28/01/13. Yesterday 20/02/13 i went to toilet in the morning to pee, wiped and the toilet paper was pinkish, had cramps aswell, but my cycle didnt start. We also trying for a baby and had unprotexed sex since 28th Dec till about the 06th Jan. Could i be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Your cycles are almost regular.
The spotting you have seen could be implantation bleeding or premenstrual spotting.
To come to one conclusion, better to wait for one more week.
If you do not get periods by that time, go for urine pregnancy test once.
Start taking folic acid tablets from now onwards.
If the test comes negative, consult gynecologist and take tablets for withdrawal bleeding. Then plan for pregnancy with her advice.
