Trying To Conceive, Irregular Periods. Regestrone Taken. Should I Continue With Regestrone?

Hi,
I havent got my period for 2 months so doctor suggested to take Regestrone tab for 4 days /2tab per day and now 8days completed but till i didnt got my periods. I am very much worried as i have irregular periods. So kindly help or guide me so that i can get my periods again. we are planning for pregnancy but this irregular period problem creating so much problems in my life.

Kindly suggest me the tablet or do i need to start again the Regestrone tab then for how many days i should

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
The dosage is sufficient in inducing periods.
I suggest you to get a pregnancy test done.
If it is negative, take regesterone 5mg three times daily for five days.
You can expect your periods within 10days.
Simultaneously reduce your weight if you are overweight.
Recuce your stress levels. This helps in regularizing the cycle.
