Toddler With Straight Line Rash, Which Is Spreading, And Pain In Leg. What Could This Be?

My son woke up with pain in the back of his leg. He is 2 years old and I looked and he has a straight line rash about 1/4" wide on the back of his leg. I remember seeing two elongated spots and thought it was a little dry skin and put lotion on it but it has gotten longer and spread and now he is waking up with pain in that leg. Do you have an idea of what this might be his vaccines are up to date

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the boils in the back of the leg. Or it may be an infection due to some scracth, or prick in that place, rare possibility is the filariasis.
I advise you to consult a pediatrcian for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin100 tablets, syp of ibuprofen and paracetamol and di ethyl carbamazine citrate syp.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
