Tapering Ativan. On Zoloft. What Else Can I Take During The Process?
What is the best way to taper off Ativan ?
I've been on it for 6 years. I take .5 mgs before bed.
I want to do a slow taper based on the Ashton manual. I have no health insurance.
If I used the liquid Ativan how would i dose that accordingly ?
Also what can I safely take while tapering to help me sleep?
I'm also on 100 mgs of Zoloft.

It would help if you can be guided by a doctor familiar with benzidiazepine withdrawal.It is hazardous trying to withdraw the drug without medical help.It would be prudent to shift to equivalent doses of diazepam and then begin the withdrawal.The withdrawal needs to be extremely gradual and can take a few months to be carried out.
