Taking Paxil. Taken Medicine For UTI. Diagnosed With Alzheimer's. Due To Paxil?
Hi and i sure do appreciate it. my wife was on paxil for 18 yrs and was taking 37.5 . we decided to get her off since on so long. i called our doctor and he said to cut the cr 37.5 in half for 4 wks, the go to paxil 10 (which i had to buy 20) and cut in to. Well unknow to us she had a uti also and was taken to hospital and theey sent her to a placew and was diagnosed as having altizhmeirs so know she is on so many drug that cant tell. My question is could this be from paxil and not altizhmeirs
Hi, what ever the cause alzimers should be treated in the same way, and only difference is to stop the paxil, any how you are getting it done. For that you have to half the dose but not the tablet. In such misleading cases you better inform the doctor and depend on the doctor completely. Thank you.
