What Causes Rapid Weight Gain After Taking Concerta?
My 15 year old daughter switched from Daytrana to 36 mg of Concerta in December. She is rapidly gaining weight (almost 25 lbs). She also takes 20 mg of Prozac. Could the weight gain be from the switch from Daytrana to Concerta. I am very concerned. She is quite an active teenager so the weight gain surprises me.

Concerta has no such side effects of weight gain. In fact, Concerta causes weight loss by suppressing appetite.
