Taken Cystop And Ovuloc For PCOS. Want To Conceive As Soon As Possible

Please help, We wanted to have a child ASAP. But i have PCOS. I was given Cystop tablets. Now doctor has given me Ovuloc LD tablets and advised to take for next 3 months. I'm disappointed. beacuse when i read about it it says its an oral contraceptive pill avoiding birth control. But i want to concieve ASAP. I read the slip provided inside. It says after using Ovuloc pregnancy can be delayed. and it is making me more worried.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
PCOD presents with hormonal imbalance.
That can lead to irregular menstrual cycles, anovulation etc.
Women with PCOD may have increased chances of miscarriage during pregnancy.
So better to get treated for PCOD first.
By taking the hormonal pills for 3 months, possibly your hormonal imbalance will get corrected.
After that in the next cycles, you can track the ovulation and can plan for pregnancy.
If you do not want to wait for 3 more months, consult your doctor and discuss about your desire.
Then with her advice you can go for ovulation induction and follicular study.
Plan intercourse around the time of ovulation, that will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
During pregnancy you may progesterone supplementation to prevent miscarriage.
Take care.
