Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of nausea and bitter taste in the mouth after taking Ovuloc. yes it could be due to Ovuloc as it contains estradiol and it is a hormonal preparation, so common symptoms of digestive tract disorder such as nausea, gastritis are associated with this. Need not to worry.

I would suggest you to

- Take soft and bland food and avoid sharp spicy food.

- Suck on lemon candies.

- Avoid taking Ovuloc tablet on empty stomach.

- Drink plenty of fluids.

Visit general physician once if symptoms keeps on persisting and get complete examination done and start on alternative medication for your symptoms after proper prescription.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of nausea and bitter taste in mouth is due to side effect of Ovulac tablet only that contains Desogestrel and Ethinyl Estradiole..

It is helpful in fulfilling female sex hormones and regularize periods..

The symptoms that you are facing are a commonly seen side effect of such Medication and will improve as the intake of medicines will be stopped..
Also gradually with ever course of Medication the body will tend to adjust with medcation and symptoms will get better..

If the symptoms does not improve or keep worsening consult your Gynaecologist and get evaluated and he can change the medications..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
