Swelling In Forehead, Bridge Of Nose, Eyelids. Allegra Given. Advise?

We are on holiday in tobago. Yesterday my daughter's forehead, bridge of nose and eyelids swelled up. We went to a pharmacy and they gave her allegra d for an allergic reaction. Last night we thought it was beginning to go down but she has woken this morning with more swelling under her left eye. She has no other noticeable symptoms other than we came on holiday because she was very run down and she has been sleeping a lot. She used the hotel shampoo yesterday morning, which is why we thought it was an allergic reaction. Her forehead was slightly sunburnt, but not the area that has swelled. She got river water in her eye a couple of days ago. Please can you help? Thanks

Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your description, it seems that your daughter may be having a severe UV rays induced allergy called polymorphic light eruption or an acute sunburn or a condition called solar urticaria.
Use a broad spectrum sunscreen every 3 hours and also use a broad brimmed hat.
If this does not help, you may need to contact your healthcare provider.
