Suggest Treatment For Choking

I had an incident a couple of weeks ago where I was choking and had to be rushed to the ER. Since then, I have been having difficulty swallowing, have a heavy feeling in my chest and feel like I cannot get enough air. I am scheduled for a barium swallow in the next couple of days, is this the right course of action?

because of the chocking the esophagus must have traumatized and this may cause the difficulty in swallowing it is better to get done the Barium test this would clear the doubt, hope this helps.
