Hello,

As the person had a fracture 12 months ago, I think an x-ray or CT should be taken before starting any high strenuous workout.

In most cases, the bone heals better but always have to start with low intensity and modify to high intensity over a period of 3-4 months of time.

As we need to first improve the overall composition of the bone and make it ready for the stress and strain. Understanding the biomechanics of the bone is important before doing any physical exercise which is mostly into the training program.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
