Suggest Accurate Steroid For POCOS

i am 23 yrs old. i am having PCOS with >15 cysts of 3-4 mm in both ovaries and amenorrhea for 3-4 months. i hv been prescribed bigomet by a doctor for 1-2 years with 6 months installments..on the other hand i hv been prescribed norgest for a week after which i will be treated with another medicine for 1.5years by an another doctor. i am worried of getting obese as norgest and all that are of steroid compositions.. so i want to take the steroid if needed which will be accurate for PCOS.. with whom should i go? or i should consult any more doctors?.

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Steroids are not to be taken and unnecessary in PCOS.

2) Please go to an IVF centre in your town to assess the severity of PCOS.

3) Take immediate treatment to conceive.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
