Hello Madam,
it seems that you have PCOS, for which you have taken contraceptive pills for 3 months. The second scan, after pills does not show any improvement. It reveals that your right ovary has cysts, where as left ovary is free of cysts. Now you have been prescribed with tab Duphaston for 10 days. You must clarify yourself - what problem you have PCOS or PCO.
First of all clear yourself, whether you have PCO or PCOS. Not all women with PCOS have polycystic ovaries (PCO), nor do all women with ovarian cysts have PCOS.
If you have poly Cystic Ovary (PCO) alone wait patiently, Medications like duphaston (potent, orally active progestogen) along with medicine to lower the Insulin resistance like Tab. metformin can be taken as per advice of Dr.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common female endocrine disorders.
The principal features of PCOS are anovulation, resulting in irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, ovulation-related infertility, and poly cystic ovaries - excessive amounts or effects of androgenic hormones, and insulin resistance. The symptoms and severity of the syndrome vary greatly among affected women.
A pelvic ultrasound is a major diagnostic tool, among other diagnostic methods.
The treatment of PCO is different from the treatment of PCOS.
Whether PCO or PCOS the ovulation is affected.
PCOS: By maintaining a healthy weight and eating fewer processed foods and foods with added sugar, you can improve your body’s use of insulin and balance your hormone levels.
Weight loss may help regulate your cycles, improve the frequency of ovulation, lower androgen levels and boost your fertility.
If you have PCOS and getting pregnant is your ultimate goal, talk to your doctor. Your doctor will help you find the most effective treatment options, including fertility-boosting medications and high-tech modalities, if necessary, to help you get pregnant and start a family.
Drilling and IUI - Can't be commented without proper menstrual history, clinical examination, hormone analysis and pelvic ultrasound.
Don't let your hope down.
best wishes

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for choosing H.C.M.Forum.
Your doctor prescribed pills for P.C.O.S for 3 months, one side cysts cleared then gave duphastan for 10 days.is there any chance of pregnancy, when.
If P.C.O.S alone is the case your infertility it is the exact treatment, and with in few months you will become pregnant.
There are several causes of infertility like anaemia, male factors of infertility, etc. Actually both the partners should be examined for infertility.
so i advise both of you to consult a doctor.
I also advise you to avoid sex in first 10 days of the period, compulsorily have sex from 11 th to 20 th day after period. Always try to have sex in female down position, and stay like that after sex, for few minutes.
Wishing for a best of luck.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Women with PCOS can conceive with treatment.
Duphaston is used to maintain a healthy lining in the uterus.

In addition to the above , lifestyle changes can be helpful. This is because this condition can be associated with excess weight in some women and weight loss has been shown to improve the chances of fertility.
Metformin , which decreases the insulin resistance associated with PCOS has also been shown to increase fertility.

If the above does not help then there are medications that can be taken to induce ovulation.

I hope this helps
