Stomach Injury, Pain On Left Side Of Abdomen, Hip Bones, Headache, Nausea. Cure For Pain?

I fell really hard on my stomach ice skating yesterday. I am a fairly skinny young woman. The left side of my abdomen and my hip bones only hurt a little yesterday and I got a headache and was nauseas. I woke up this morning and the left side of my abdomen hurts a lot more than it did yesterday and it hurts even more to laugh or cough .

hi there, most probabely it is a soft tissue injury which you sustained during the fall and few analgesics and some hot fomentation should give you relief but if you do not feel better in a day or two or if you develop any additional symptoms then you may visit an ER and let a doctor examine you and if required get an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out any internal injury, expecially splenic injury as it may be hurt during the fall. Take care.
