Sore Upper Eyelid, Pull Feeling On Eyelashes, Blurring In Left Eye. Thoughts ?

I am having a sore upper eyelid. I've been having a feeling that on occasion there is something in my eye so I pull on my eyelashes thinking I will get it out. I do wear contacs. I walked inside my house and all of a sudden my left eye became blurred. I went into the bathroom and I had blood in my eye. I cleaned it up and it was fine until the next morning at 4:00, I felt which I thought was a tear, it wasn't it was blood again. I cleaned it up. I then proceed to look under my lid and when I did , blood would coagulate where it looked sore on my lid and then go into my eye. I went to an eye doctor and they couldn't see anything and told me to put eye compresses on it. I thought it was getting better today, I teach so I am using the computer a lot. Anyhow, I felt like there was something covering my eye and it was a mucousy strand and a little bit of blood. Now it feels like it is sore again. What do you think? AAAA

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having infection and swelling of the gland of the eyelid.
Since you are using contact lens, stop using the contact lens till the swelling of the eyelid comes down.
The treatment of the condition is mainly be hot compress along with oral antiinflammatory drugs and antibiotic eye drops as your eye doctor as told you.

Thank you
