Should Water Pills Be Taken For Swollen Feet And Ankle?

Hi! I have my two feet swollen with my ankle.i was told that it was a water retention because I have a kidney disease.i have been sent to a nephrologist but I have not been lucky to meet him. My doctor gave me a water pills to be taken on daily basis. What do you advise me to do.

You have to visit nephrologist. Do kidney function test. Taking diuretics will decease the swelling but will not cure the disease. So with investigation report consult nephrologist.
