Should I Not Work Out After Going Through Stabismus Surgery?
Hello, i had strabismus surgery on the 20th of nov my eye is still a little red in the corners and i have finished my drops about 3 weeks ago. I went to the gym yesterday and ran a little bit woke up and my eye was quite red more than normal . do you think i should stop the gym until i see the doctor who did the surgery on the 20th of jan and do you think i should try and get back on the drops ? Would gyming so much later after the surgery be a problem ?
Hello It seems from the history that you have undergone squint surgery in November. Usually after squint surgery rest is advised for 3-4 weeks. The eye drops are advised for 6-8 weeks in tapering dosage. As it is almost 5 months after surgery you can resume all your activities including workout. There is no need to worry at all.
Thank you
