Mays period is 8 days late but light pink spotting started yesterday and is very light. my cycle is usually extremely heavy and lasts 7-14 days. In April it lasted 4 days and skipped a day then spotted for one more day. I am gassy and constipated with a headache for 10 days straight

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM. If you are sexually active, then you need to undergo one blood test for beta-HCG and TVS scan to rule out possible pathology. Late period with pinkish spotting may indicate early sign of miscarriage.

Following above test reports, you need to consult with gynecologist for next line management.

Take healthy diet, drink plenty fluid/ water, avoid stress, take some laxative in bed time, maintain genital hygiene. Be well.
