Report Shows Intrauterine Fetus With Unstable Presentation Placenta Anterior, Maturity Grade 0. Safe To Travel?
Dear Docter the below comments are in my wife pregnancy and today we are planning to travel to 20 hours by train is it safe and the start date is 09.06.13.
uterus shows single live intra uterine fetus with unstable presentation placenta is anterior & reaching up to internal OS but does not cover it maturitity grade is 0
Hi, Thanks for the query. As the placenta is reaching upto the os, there is possibility of unexpected bleeding sometimes. Though train journey is safe, according to the traveling period and placental position, better to avoid the journey. If journey is must, then precautions to be taken. Like: - Better to be in supine position as per as possible. -Should not lift weights or stain for anything. -Better to go for progesterone prophylaxis with your doctor's advice. -If bleeding starts better to go to near by hospital. Take care.
