What Does Negative Blood Test For Pregnancy With Sac In Uterus Indicate?
My period is currently 4 weeks late and i had an ultrasound which showed a sac in my uterus. My doctor then ordered a blood pregnancy test which came back negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant and that the hormones just aren't showing in my blood yet? I am spotting for the last 4 days.

Hi,
I feel you had a chemical pregnancy or blighted ovum where the sac develops but there is no formation of fetus in it. The fate of such a condition is to expel out after few days on its own (probably the spotting indicates the same). may need doctors help for surgical evacuation in few cases.
