Recurring Abdominal Cramps, Nausea, Profuse Sweating, Rapid Heartbeat, Diarrhea Usually After Eating. Concerning?
Today had an episode at work where I felt my life was in danger. I've had a few of these over the past 30-40 years and each one seems to be worse than the one before. Usually occurs after eating. Beginning with bad abdominal cramping, feeling nauseated, profuse sweating, rapid heart beat and breathing and light headedness. At the same time I have a bowel movement starting out normal then ending in diarrhea. I was to the appoint where I ended up laying down on the floor in a public restroom. What could be the cause?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
It could be due to celiac disease or gluten insensitivity. better to get evaluated for your symptoms with gastroenterologist. You may need to undergo tests to diagnose your problem like testing for antibodies, intestinal biopsy etc..
Consult your doctor for examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Vidya
