Re-occuring Boils Around The Groin Area, Terrible Scarring. Preventive Measures?

Hi there, I have been getting boils/carbuncles around the groin area for mnay years now. They keep re-occuring. I have tried anitbiotics, all kinds of washes. I was wondering what is the best type of antibacterial body wash to use? I am just going to try preventative measure rather than just dealing with the boils when they appear. They keep comng back in the same areas also so I have been left with terrible scarring.

Treat under lying cause like fungal infection, hair follicular infection.
Rule out diabetes.
Keep local part clean, airy and well shaved.
Avoid wearing tight, ill fitted under garments.
