Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection

I am currently on a prescription of Tetralysal and Differin gel to clear up my facial acne, however i think it may have caused a yeast infection. I am currently using Malaseb (an antibacterial and antifungal shampoo) on it daily, which keeps it under control but does not remove it. What would you suggest I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would suggest oral antibiotic and anti-fungal medications along with local shampoos to wash face. The brand and dosage of the medicines and prescription can be obtained by actual physical examination. You need consultation of a cosmetologist / skin specialist for it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
