Pregnant Suffering From Lower Back Pain, Pain In The Leg. Why?

Hello, I am suffering with really bad lower back pain . It seems like it is my right bum cheek. I ve been getting it on and off for about 2 weeks but tonight I can hardy move. It hurts to move when I am sitting, I can t walk very well, I have to lay on my side for it to ease but if I move my leg it hurts. I m 10 weeks pregnant. I have never suffered with back pain of any sort before.

YOU MUST CONSULT AN ORTHOPAEDICIAN AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE .AS YOU ARE PREGNANT SO PLEASE TELL UR DOCTOR SO THAT THEY SHOULD NOT ADVICE U X-RAY. TO RULE OUT ANY NEURALGIC PROBLEM MRI IS ALWAYS SAFE DURING PREGNANCY. TAKE CARE

Thanks for writing to us,
It is quite normal to have minimal residing lower back pain in pregnancy, since you are only ten week pregnant, it is quite abnormal. Doing MRI help you to find the cause in most of the situation.
if your symptoms aggravate day by day, it is advisable to meet an nearby orthopaedician and get treated accordingly.
