Pregnant. Having Coughing With Dry Heaving, Nausea, Blood While Vomitting, Cramps, Tiredness. Matter Of Concern?

I m 19 weeks pregnant and for a while now I can t cough w/ out dry heaving. Yesterday morning this happened, then I felt very nauseous and vomitted and a little blood came up. The rest of the day I felt horrible with harsh cramps and was tired. Should I be worried? The baby gave me 2 big kicks, too. I still feel her moving. Today I am fine. Why am I coughing so much w/ dry heaves?

Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
You can cough up a streak of blood if the coughing is very strenuous. Dry cough can be due to many causes, including viral infections and may sometimes also be a manifestation of asthma.
It may not be anything to worry about, but because you are pregnant, I would suggest you see your doctor straight away. Your doctor will examine you and maybe order some tests to make sure it is nothing serious. As the baby is moving well, it is a sign that the baby is happy inside the womb. The kicks are normal at this stage.
Best wishes.
