Pacemaker Inserted. Bruising On Incision Site, Bleeding. Taken Ibuprofen And Tylenol. Is This Normal?

I had a pacemaker inserted yesterday around 1300. I had a pressure dressing on when they discharged me today. I removed the pressure dressing as directed around 1600 today. All was fine until tonight when I noted some oozing of new bood under the steri strips. I also noted more swelling and some new bruising around the incision site. I have done the icing every couple hours and have not over used my arm. I did take ibuprofen though I was directed that I could do so if Tylenol plain did not help the pain.
Is this normal?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Tissue injury during the procedure is the reason
Ibuprofen has anti-inflammatory properties and better than Tylenol in this situation
It will subside in a few hours... If it gets worse, call your doctor...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
