Missed period with negative pregnancy test. Tried IVF and IUI to conceive. Chances of pregnancy?

Hey. I haven t had my period for 2 months now. I am 32. We tried IVF s and IUIs and all failed. I took a pregnancy test and they were all negative. I am married but on Jan. 7th decided to try with my long lost lover instead of spending another $20,000 on infertility treatments. My last period was Dec. 13th. haven t had one since. No symptoms. Negative test, but it s driving me nuts . What do you think? Advice? Do you think I could be pregnant? After 5 years of no success?

A negative test after 2 months excludes pregnancy. Also, you seem to have had intercourse not during the fertile period, but in the safe period, presuming that you have regular 28-30 day cycles. You could be suffering from unexplained infertility, but the cause of your present amenorrhoea should be elicited. For further evaluation, you may consult your gynecologist, get a trans-vaginal sonogram and a blood test for beta-hCG. Good luck.

General & Family Physician Dr. Veera Raghava Rao Buddha.'s  Response
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. The treat ment of infertility is a complex process examination of both partners , semen analysis, U.S scaning, blood tests for haemoglobin, V.D.R.L. etc. after extensive investigations the doctor will come to a conclusion, who is at defecit and cause of infertility.
And like wise the person at fault is treated more , and the other partner is also should be treated for general causes.
Whether to change the partner is not a medical problem, but more a sociai problem. It may be fruitful, when your husband is at a irrecoverable medical problem, like azoospermia.
Who ever the partner is i advise you some diet recommendations as take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, milk, fruits, juices, and nonvegetarian foods which contains iron, proteins , vitamins, minerals necessory for for welbeing of general and reproductive health .
Besdes i advise you some behavior recommendations as avoid sex infirst and last ten days ofter the period , defenitely have sex from 11th to 20th days. An have sex in male above position. Keep in position for 30minutes after sex.
Wishing for a success in fight against fertility. thank you for calling H.C.M.
