Good evening
Before you switch to any new medication its important for you to consult your doctor.
Hydrocodone is narcotic pain reliever, and acetaminophen is non narcotic pain reliever usually they two are combined to form one tablet, recently there has been reformulation and quantity of Acetaminophen has been reduced to 300 however THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECT(STRENGTH) FOR YOU WILL REMAIN THE SAME, DO NOT WORRY. CONTINUE WITH NEW DRUG. hope I answered your questions. will be happy to help you.
