Large Retention Cyst In Right Maxillary Sinus, Severe Pain In Jaw, Cheek From Nose To Ear. No Help From Excedrin, Motrin, Vicodin. Advice

I have a large retention cyst in the right maxillary sinus. I am experiencing severe pain in my right jaw & cheek area from my nose to right ear. It stops me dead in my tracks from doing anything. Pain medications such as Excedrin, Motrin, and Vicodin are not helping. I am using peppermint oil & clove oil topically & getting only minimal results. Also using Anbesol with only slight relief. I've been applying pressure point therapy with minimal results. Is there anything I can apply topically or otherwise to help the pain. When these "nerve spasms" come on, it feels like a huge needle going up from my jaw into my lower & upper teeth & gums. It brings me to tears & I seem to have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but this is a whole other ballgame. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
If you know that you have a retenion cyst then you must get it operated and removed .
There can be infections again and again and then it causes pain.
It will be harmful for the body to take medicines for long time. it will be good that you consult an ENT specialist and get operated .
Otherwise you need to take a course of antibiotics and steroids with nasal sprays -both saline and steroid sprays.
