Is There Any Pill Which Is Good For Hypertension And Is Not Diuretic?
hi Dr Samuel, I was just release fr the hospital fr UTI Infection to Kidney infection, good thing it did not go to my blood, I was given 2 antibiotic intravenously & potassium as well. Since I was taking Maxide diuretics pill for more than 10 years, & that contribute to consume my potassium in my body. Is tree other pill that is good for hypertension that is not diuretics? pls let me know. thanks

As per your history,you are taking diuretics since 10 years, that would cause hypokalemia.
Many drugs like ACE inhibitors and AT-antagonists are equally good for treating hypertension in patients with kidney disease.
I would suggest you to consult your physician for taking above mentioned drugs and know the proper dosage.
