Is The Vertigo Due To Hysterectomy?

I had a complete hysterectomy almost 6 weeks and have had dizziness ever since, some times I even feel like I'm going to black out. I went to the doctor for it yesterday and was diagnosed with vertigo. The doctor wasn't my obgyn. Is the vertigo a symptom of the hysterectomy I had on March 26 of this year?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The dizziness you have can be due to hysterectomy only if you had blood loss during surgery causing weakness and severe anemia. Please get your blood checked and nutritional supplements would relief. Refractory error of eye / ear or sinus problems are other causes for it. Please get these investigated and seek an advise of expert for needful medication / treatment. Tab Diziron after food (dose to be advised by your family physician) would give you symptomatic relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
