My younger sister (18 yr old) has dextro cardia and is a blue baby(with 2 holes in her heart) she has been treated with a BT-Shunt,she also suffers from multiple aneurysm in her brain because of which she is suffering with severe headaches followed by breathlessness and vertigo feeling. Please guide me if her aneurysms can be treated in any ways to reduce her pain.Would medical hypotensive therapy or any other treatment help her.And if yes then, please also let me know from where do I get her treatment done.Thank you in advance but please revert back to my query as I am in need badly.

Hi,

Aneurysms may cause headache and vertigo if they are large or due to compression of surroundings neural tissue. The treatment would certainly depend upon the site and size of these aneurysms. I would certainly like to have a look at MR or CT angiogram of head to give you a better opinion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
