Is The Infection Going To Hurt My Baby?

Hello, I am 11 weeks pregnant and I have a tooth abscess with symptoms of dizziness, diarrhea, and nausea, and headaches. I cannot find a dentist that accepts my insurance and my insurance provider has not updated their directory of providers. Should I go to the ER? Is the infection going to hurt my baby?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.ln my opinion tooth abcess does not harm the fetus .so dont worry.relax.But you may not have food intake properly due to pain and discomfort with tooth abcess.so take simple paracetamol and avoid pain killers.
As you are in first trimester you have nausea and dizziness so better take medicine after consulting your doctor.
Take adequate fluids and fruit juices.
Any dental procedures better to be done in 2 nd trimester ie.,13 to 28 wks.
