General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Spotting is a common complaint of many women who take Implanon. Spotting generally stops after a few months as the boy adjusts with the changes. But sometimes spotting may continue & it can be removed if you find it difficult to deal with it.

There are other contraceptive methods that can be used instead of Implanon, like a patch, ring, pills, hormonal IUD.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
