hi am 10 weeks pregnant.. i am given ovumax injection every 15 days.. upto now i have given 5 dose totally.. y dis s given.. actually i hae PCOD n took siphene n had follicular study also.. i got pregnant. is dis injection given to all pregnant ladies?

ovumax injection contains gonadotropins.
these drugs are given to prevent failure of corpus luteum which is required to maintain pregnancy till the development of the placenta.
all women do not need this. only those women suspected to go in for failure of corpus is given.
