Is It Safe Taking Losartan Along With Bystolic To Control High BP?

I've been taking Bystolic 10 mg daily for high blood pressure. Unfortunately, my BP readings were still high so my doctor prescribed Losartan 50 mg daily to take in combination with the Bystolic. Is this OK? Is there anything to be concerned about?

Hi There

I totally understand your concern and would like to assure you that it's totally ok to be on two drugs simultaneously if one one drug alone is not able to control the BP adequately.
The things you need to take care is to avoid high salt dieT's, canned food, junk food, eat good amount of green vegetables and fruits, stop smoking completely if you do and start morning walks daily for 45 mins 5 days a week. In short healthy lifestyle and you will be fine.

Wish you Good Health
