Is A Walking Boot Safer Than An Air Cast?
Hi i had a spiral fracture of my fibula 6 weeks ago. Today they took my cast off and I have minimal healing. Ask me if I was diabetic, which i m not. They gave me a walking boot instead of an air cast, why is the danger of me using an air cast instead?

hi good that you are out of cast now. The x-ray may not show complete healing in six weeks time , but practically the Fracture heals. The problem with air cast is sometimes the air comes off it automatically and then it does not work.
